Happy Harvest!

Owls have been busy getting ready for the Harvest Festival!
As we approach the half-term break, Owls have been getting ready for the Harvest festival celebration - as have the rest of the school! In preparation for the celebration, Owls have written some superb poems and created some wonderful pieces of artwork, particularly the lovely pumpkins they created. A big 'thank you!' to Rupert for inspiring the rest of the class to create these. And a big 'well done' to Phoebe, Olivia R, Jacob, George and Rupert (again!) for having their poems selected to perform in St Peter's church. Phoebe and Olivia had their poem selected by the whole class - which was not easy given the tough competition from the excellent range of poems created across the whole class. Some of the Owls had the lovely suggestion of asking Mrs Mason, as it was her last week, to select the others. Again, not an easy decision for Mrs Mason, given the quality of what was written. Owls, there are clearly lots of potential poets for the future. Well done, everyone!
