Traditionally, teachers club together to buy a small end-of-year gift for the children. However, after many years of choosing gifts, we found ourselves running out of ideas! We also wanted to be mindful of the environment and avoid giving out plastic items that may eventually end up in landfill.

Instead, we decided to treat every child to a delicious ice cream complete with a flake and sauce. The announcement was met with huge cheers and excitement across the school, and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying their special treat together.

As we celebrate another successful year, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our children, parents and carers, the PTA, and our wider school community for their continued support, generosity, time and encouragement throughout the year. Your contribution helps to make our school such a happy and successful place to learn and grow.

We would also like to wish everyone a safe, relaxing and fun-filled summer holiday. We hope you enjoy spending time with family and friends and making lots of happy memories.

Finally, to our wonderful Year 6 pupils, we wish you every success as you begin the next exciting chapter of your education. You have been fantastic members of our school family and will be greatly missed by both staff and pupils alike. We are incredibly proud of all that you have achieved and know that you will go on to do amazing things at secondary school.
