From the teams emerging from school, chanting their team names through all the races and the announcement of the winning team, this was a great spectacle of sportsmanship and positive energy. MANOR values were clearly on display, not just in the banners adopted by the teams, but in words and deeds throughout the morning. Children were well-mannered and respectful of competitors, they aspired to achieve, they nurtured each other in victory and defeat, they were open-minded in the way they tried every race and celebrated those in different teams and they were resilient in never giving up and smiling in the face of defeat. The ice-lollies at the end just capped off a great morning. Thank you to all of the supporters who turned out to cheer on every child, creating an environment where all children wanted to be part of it, never mind where they finished, and thank you to the PTA who provided the refreshments to keep everyone going! Well done the reds of Dudley for their third win in a row!
