Penguins Class Learn About Safety with PCSO Tom!

This afternoon, Penguins Class had a very special visitor; our local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Tom! He came in to talk to us all about how to stay safe and make smart choices in our community.
PCSO Tom explained the importance of knowing our home address and parents’ phone numbers, so we can always get help if we need it. We also learned about the clever app What3Words, which can help emergency services find your exact location, anywhere in the world!
We had a great discussion about social media, how to use it safely, and why it’s important to be kind online. PCSO Tom also talked to us about anti-social behaviour and how our actions can affect others in our neighbourhood.
The highlight of the visit? We got to look inside a real police car! Some children had a turn sitting inside, and we even got to try out the siren; it was very loud but very exciting!
A big thank you to PCSO Tom for visiting us and helping us learn how to stay safe and be responsible members of our community. Penguins Class had a brilliant time!
