Published 09/02/24A fantastic showcase of music at Manor today! Children from Penguins Class showed off all they have learned over the past term and a half on their doods. We were also treated to some fantastic pieces by other musicians in school including those who play guitar, the flute and even the saxophone! Well done to all involved.

Published 09/02/24Five weeks of work learning about the Ancient Egyptians and their art has culminated in Owls Class creating their very own 'ancient' scrolls. Children created their art pieces on their very own 'papyrus' paper made from recycled parcel paper strips. Their art uses a mixture of Ancient Egyptian symbols and symbols of hobbies or interests the children may have. See below for pictures of the children with their scrolls!

Published 26/01/24A selection of eight year 3/4 children competed in an athletics tournament at Rawlett. All of the children did Manor proud and showed off their Manor values! Children took part in relay races, long jump, high jump, chest push and an obstacle race. They all had a fantastic time and even won some of the events too!

Published 19/01/24Owls Class learnt about some of the Ancient Egyptian symbols seen in their art work and writings. They then used a mixture of crayons, pencils and pastels to try and replicate some of the symbols and arrange them in their own artistic manner.
