As part of our learning in Design and Technology, Owls have been working co-operatively in groups to build a range of prototype cars. This required a range of skills, not least of all, teamwork and patience. Each car moves in a different way, one being a gravity-powered car, one being a slingshot car and the last build was a wind-up car. Some have been more successful than others, and many groups are still trying to get the most complicated build (the wind-up car) to work successfully. As in the real world of design, things don’t always work first time. Employing our last Manor value – resilience – no doubt we shall get these vehicles working well. Good job – Owls!
