Building amazing structures.

Look out for the buildings of the future!
Owls got technical before the Christmas holiday during their Design and Technology lessons. Over the course of several lessons, Owls found out about pavilions from both the past and present, and from around the world. Following on from this, they were then set the challenge of creating their own pavilion. As in the real world, some of the very ambitious designs had to be adapted when the reality of constructing them in real life came into play! And as with all aspects of the curriculum, some children were more natural engineers than others, in the same way that some children are more natural readers or mathematicians than others. But what can be said about Owls is that they all showed great Manor values, especially aspiration and resilience!
