Staffordshire Sounds: Music Concert - A Magical Experience for Our Children

Last week, our pupils were treated to an incredible 45-minute music concert delivered by Staffordshire Sounds Entrust Music Service. The session was a true celebration of sound, showcasing a wide variety of instruments from the woodwind, strings, and percussion families.

The children were captivated as they listened to the rich tones of flutes and recorders, the deep resonance of guitars and violins, and the rhythmic beats of drums and other percussion instruments. The performers didn’t just play; they brought music to life, encouraging the children to join in and experience the joy of making music together.

One of the highlights was singing along to instrumental versions of popular tracks, including APT and K-Pop Demon Hunters, which had the children smiling, singing and moving to the beat. Some lucky pupils even had the chance to try out a musical instrument themselves, sparking excitement and curiosity about learning music in the future.

The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all and provided a wonderful opportunity for our children to explore different sounds, rhythms, and melodies.

Quote from a pupil:
“It was good - I liked singing to the K-Pop Demon hunters best."

A huge thank you to Entrust for delivering such an engaging and memorable concert! If your child was inspired by the concert and would like to learn a musical instrument, please speak to Mrs Everett in the office. (Spot the 'Odd Socks' for Anti-Bullying Week in the photos too!)
