Owls have been very busy learning about the fascinating scientific world of forces. They've discovered what a contact and non-contact force is, and have had a go at categorising them. As you would expect, there have been lots of practical things to undertake. These have included activities such as testing different surfaces to discover the effects of friction and working with magnets to discover the effects of force here – and that a force can have an effect even if it doesn't make contact with another surface. We've still got lots to discover, but hopefully the photographs give you a snapshot of the exciting learning that has been taking place. Well done, Owls – keep those science brains working!
